请允许我向来自中国以及其他庆祝农历新年的亚洲国家的朋友们表示最热诚的问候，祝各位健康平安，牛年丰登。农历新年是我们欢庆IMF全球大家庭多彩文化的一个良好时机。我很荣幸通过线上形式与各位一道参与这次活动。
牛在中国的“十二生肖”中排行第二，是努力、勤奋和诚实的象征，而这些优良品质正是在疫情后重建我们的世界所需要的。金牛代表着积极的前景，让我对共同战胜新冠疫情这场全球性危机更加乐观。
中国已接近全面复苏，若能向世界其他地区施以援手，将发挥出巨大的作用。我谨祝愿各位鸿运不断，春节快乐！
人们庆祝节日的方法各有不同，但都有一个共同点，那就是合家团圆——哪怕今年我们大多数人只能在线上与家人团聚，也是如此。希望大家能欢度春节，与亲朋好友们尽享团圆——当然也包括共进美食佳肴。谢谢！

The Lunar New Year is a great time to celebrate the diverse cultures of our truly global Fund family, and I thank you for the opportunity to virtually join you today.
The second animal of the Chinese zodiac, the ox stands for hard work, diligence, and honesty, all these qualities we need, as we work to rebuild to a world devastated by the pandemic.
The ox has a positive outlook. And this makes me optimistic that together we can overcome what is still a global crisis. And with its recovery almost complete, China can make a difference by helping others.
I wish everyone a lucky new year and happy Spring Festival.
While people celebrate the holiday in different ways, all celebrations have one thing in common: family reunions, even if they may be mostly virtual this year. So I hope you enjoy holiday, enjoy the time with your family and friends, and of course, the wonderful traditional food!
