近日，一段阿塞拜疆总统在采访中回怼BBC记者的片段火了。
去年11月6日，BBC记者尤拉·盖兰采访阿塞拜疆总统阿利耶夫（Ilham Aliyev）时称，阿塞拜疆人没有新闻自由。阿利耶夫否认了这一说法，并说明了阿塞拜疆新闻和言论自由的情况。
他随后反问记者，如何评价英国逮捕阿桑奇的事情，这是不是反映了英国的新闻自由？
How do you assess what happened to Mr Assange? Isn’t it a reflection of free media in your country?
他接下来的话非常精彩：
你们因为新闻活动就把阿桑奇关押起来，其实是从道德和肉体两方面杀死了他。这是你们干的，不是我们。
For journalistic activity, you kept that person hostage, actually killing him morally and physically. You did it, not us.
所以你们做出这种事，在道德上就没有权利来谈论新闻自由。
So you have no moral right to talk about free media when you do these things.
记者回答不出，只能提议回到一开始讨论的话题。
但阿利耶夫继续说：
因为这不是你喜欢的话题，你只喜欢指责、攻击别人。来教训我们之前，先照照镜子吧。你那根本不是问题，是指责。你的口气像是检察官。
Because this is not what you like. You like only to accuse, only to attack, but look at the mirror before coming and lecturing us. It's not a question. It's an accusation. You talk like a prosecutor.
